Farming equipment, irrigation pumps, and buildings require a lot of electricity. Solar lets you produce your own power and reduce reliance on the grid. Get enough solar panels and you can even sell excess power back to the grid!
-
Reliable Energy Supply
Solar can provide steady power even in remote or off-grid locations, improving energy security.
-
Environmentally Friendly
Reduce your farm’s carbon footprint and demonstrate sustainable farming practices.
New 20% Instant Depreciation Tax Benefit for Farmers
From 22 May 2025, farmers investing in new solar installations can claim 20% of the total cost as an expense in the first year. This new tax rule means you can:
Improve cash flow with instant tax savings
Continue to depreciate the remaining 80% over time
Make solar a financially smart capital investment for your farm
How it works:
Invest in new solar assets such as solar panels, inverters, batteries, and installation costs.
Claim 20% of the total cost as an expense in your tax return for the first year.
Depreciate the remaining 80% as usual over time, spreading your tax benefits.
This new depreciation rule makes solar energy an even smarter financial decision for commercial businesses aiming to reduce energy costs and improve sustainability.

Our Process
-
Step 1: Give us a call!
During the initial consultation, the consultant will learn about your farm operations and help assess the suitability of solar energy for your company.
-
Step 2: Site Assessment
We will assess the site where the solar power system will be installed. This involves evaluating factors such as the available space, roof orientation, shading, and electrical infrastructure.
-
Step 3: Design and Engineering
Based on the site assessment, we will start creating the solar power design. This includes determining the number of solar panels, their placement, inverter capacity, and other components required for the system. Engineering calculations are also performed to ensure the system meets the electrical and structural requirements.
-
Step 4: Permitting and Approvals
We will also need to secure permits and approvals from concerned government agencies. This may involve submitting documents such as structural and electrical plans, interconnection agreements, and other necessary paperwork
-
Step 5: Installation
The installation process involves mounting the solar panels on the designated area, installing the racking and mounting systems, and connecting the panels to the inverters. Electrical wiring and connection to the grid are also carried out during this phase.
-
Step 6: System Commissioning and Inspection
After the installation, the system undergoes extensive testing to ensure that all components are functioning correctly. This includes checking electrical connections, measuring system performance, and verifying compliance with safety standards. The system is also inspected by an independent electrical inspector to ensure that it meets all safety standards.
-
Step 7. Handover
We compile all relevant information, supply your system manual, and explain the various components. Next, we demonstrate your online monitoring platform so you can understand the benefits of your system and how to best utilise this energy.
-
Step 8. After Sales Care
After the installation and handover phases are complete, we continue to monitor your system for any fault that may occur in the future. As always, we are here to provide any information required for your current project or any other project you may be undertaking in the future.
